Hello friends,The Iraqi journalist started this trend when he threw a shoe at former US President George Bush Jr. It was a novel mode of protest and the habit is now catching up quite fast all over the world. In India there already are 3 to 4 cases of shoe throwing at political figures and may spread quickly if peoples frustrations grow.It is a harmless mode of protest upto now but can get dangerous if someone throws something more dangerous like a metallic object or a stone which could injure the party at whom it is thrown.People wear shoes and they trample everything underneath and so throwing it at a person indicates the contempt for that person and symbolizes the throwing party`s frustration and disgust. What are your views on this subject my friends? Do share please.

I hope no one throws anything more dangerous than shoes.lol As far as I concerned, shoe throwing only shows the protestor's weekness and rudeness. Its not even a way.

Hi sweetyethot
Can't agree more.
Though all person has right to protest what they want, but throwing shoe is very dangerous. I don't like this kind of action.

I think this is the worst form of expressing disappointment.yes indeed it may be harmless but it is more insulting .recently Manhohan singh was also attacked with a boot .this is such a sad situation .how can people do this for such an elderely person......really disgusting.

i think when you act so bad & bush did that that people want to throw shoes at you it's time for u to go home & see for yourself that u are not doing the job that u should be doing. bush certainly wasn't . he's lucky that was the worsr thing that was thrown at him.

Hello veejay19
I don't like this shoe throwing. What I can see from it is the one who threw his shoe only showing he wants to deal with things with FORCE only.
