the only remedy i have heard is to make ourselves interesting to read the book.. while reading through it, create a story around the subject and that gives good memory power. havnt tried yet.. got to try.

I also feel sleepy when I open a boring book. My interest was not trigger by the topic written on my book. I guess it's practically part of being a student.

When we become tired our cells or nerve system needs to relax, as a result drowsiness or sleep comes. But when we start to study any theory book naturally sleep comes. What is the cause ? With being tired or wariness the sleep comes. It means when we start to study any theory the brain becomes tired , it does not accept easily. If we take it seriously, engage the attention profoundly then the sleep will not come.
