How to start a wordpress blog?

I want to start a wordpress blog but I do not know to to do all those installation in hosting. I have very less knowledge in setting up hosting. Which hosting service should I use? How to install the Wordpress to my host?
Anyone can give a good guide from the the beginning until everything is properly setup?

dude, can you please mentioned me about 'paid hosting'.
What does that actually mean?
You have a pretty good blogger blog.
Then what's the need for a wordpress blog.

Hi,
I am trying to start a wordpress blog to move all my contents on blogger to wordpress using paid hosting. We know that blogger.com is offering free blogging platform for everyone and some of the designs in blogger.com are quite limited. So, I plan to use wordpress to create my blog and use paid hosting services. Paid hosting services are server or web host that we can place our stuff on the server and pay monthly fees for it.

Immensely great for sharing such a great Idea. Actually i was thinking about such a thing formerly. but I feared that moving contents will result in the report of copy right or duplication problems.
So I never minded it.

I have the same dilemma a fews days ago. I have been wanting to start Wordpress after hearing good feedback from it's users. However, when I signed up for the page, I have no idea, where else to go...or how to get started, especially in personalizing my page. With that, I ended up in staying with blogger, I just found them blogger friendly for a newbie...
