I was doing some research for another mylotter about a certian breed and just happened upon this breed quiz. I haven't taken it yet but I'm about to and I thought that it would be nice to pass on to all the mylotters that are thinking about getting a dog to see if this will help them decide what breed to purchase or at least research to see if they are right or not? here is the link for the quiz have fun. http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/search.htm THIS IS NOT A REFERREL LINK! THIS LINK DEALS WITH THE DISCUSSION!!!

I ended up with 117 options when I chose purebred dogs and the three that I like the most were listed. My siberian husky was on their along with an alaskan husky and an alaskan malamute. which like I said I had 117 options.

OH HE!! NO!!!! I took your little quiz Bella, and it found 3 dogs for me. One of them being a DOODLEMAN. Do you know what a doobleman is? It is a cross between a doberman and a standard poodle yet they look NOTHING like a doberman. Do you know what I used to do to my grandmothers poodles? Practice my field goal kicks across the kitchen floor with them. I try to punt a doodleman and I'm going to lose a foot! NO! NO! NO! Your little quiz also matched me with a shepadoodle. Are you seeing a pattern here? Funny, I specifically said I wanted a dog that did NOT shed. GRRRR!

Hi Bella Well I never went by bread or anything like that I went by my Heart and by the dog, if the Dog wanted to be with me all my Dogs have been rescue Dogs including Gissi as soon as I saw this little guy I knew I wanted him and I was so happy when he came to me after not letting anyone near him as such for 2 months which is how long he had been in the Kennel Hugs

I know some of us are lucky becuase we can judge by how a dog reacts to us. I know that there are some that just think awwweee how cute and then go and purchase a puppy and then when they get older and start exhibiting traits of their breed they get unhappy.. I think this is more of a quiz for fisrt time buyers. LOL!! But I know what you mean if you have owned dogs before your heart can find you a dog faster than the link can.

I know what I like and unfortunately, the quiz didn't show my preferences but then again, it's not a mind reader so what did I expect? lol I love German Shepherds, Beagles, Chihuahuas.... anything short haired that doesn't require brushing on a daily or even a weekly basis. We had two cocker spaniels for 12 and 13 years and we vowed that once they were gone, we'd never again get another long haired dog and we haven't. Right now we have a pure bred Chihuahua and a pure bred German Shepherd puppy and two mixed bred Chihuahua's. That's enough for us. lol

well I have to say that i got over a 100 suggestions and in that were the three types that I like and purchase. LOL!! Siberian Huskies are what I have and they actually had that on there. LOL!! I don't think it would give every their perfect match just a place to start. :)
