telling us to provide service to our communities? I mean, those who have the time, opportunity and desire are already doing it, those who have the time and opportunity but no desire aren't worth much to the organization anyway.
Is there any point to this "service bill" other than to suck another $5 billion out of nowhere? Is any of it going to be tracked or audited? Or is it just Obama paying his buddies in the criminal organization ACORN?
If anyone wonders how little Obama really cares about service or organizations, they need look no further than his pathetic 6% charitable donations last year!!!
What are you waiting for Barry? Do you need the government to force you to give before you'll open your wallet as wide as you want to open ours?

You are right. Just consider the little 'reward' people get for those services. People who are looking for money will look elsewhere unless they think they can get it easy by just logging the hours but in reality doing nothing. The ones needing the money will work real jobs in their spare time because they pay more. Lets face it, there'll not be a surge in volunteers. Those who want to volunteer already do. I do however foresee a run on the money. They'll let you donate the education money to your child, grandchild, niece, nephew, or any other child. Those who already volunteer can and most likely will take advantage of that.
