The craigslist killer is under lock and key at this time. The interesting thing is that neighbors said he was nice enough but something a bit off about him. So how often do you know someone that you have a sense about? I have had those unsure feeling about people. My prayers are with the family and friends of this unfortunate girl. I am glad he can not hurt anyone else but what about the next guy? This is the second time that a woman has been killed with connections to craigslist...when will people learn to be careful? In many ways it makes me angry at these young women that put themselves in danger everyday for that damn almighty $. Thanks for hearing my rant! xoxoxoxoxo http://www.nydailynews.com/news/ny_crime/2009/04/20/2009-04-20_massachussetts_police_arrest_suspect_in_craigslist_killer_case.html

Hey there raydene, it's been awhile since I've heard from you. I'm glad that this guy has been caught. But you are right, there could be another guy like him, or related or such. I do worry too. In today's society, everything seems to be in danger of things like this. It wasn't so bad last time. Where did it go wrong, I wonder.

That is sure good to know MOm. I was at an internet safety meeting at Niamhs school the other night and it was really scary to learn things that even I (who was stupid enough to think I knew a bit) put myself at risk! I think it is really sad that what is most possibly the greatest invention of all time, the internet, has such a dark and evil side! Hugs xxx

I am so happy they found him that creep, but I still will not use craigslist, they don't check out anybody.

He don't look much like the type that would kill, just a normal guy. Funny it is getting to be unsafe to use such a service. I have sold on Craig's List twice with out any problems. But I make sure that someone is here when they come to pick up what I am selling. I form opinions of people fast, and my first impression is usually right. I have seemed to have picked up a wreido on a site I use to answer discussions. Any time you are on the internet and give out personal information it is dangerous. Any one meeting some one in a motel room should know that there maybe danger in this. We have had a problem with my grand daughter giving out phone numbers and home address on Facebook and already had call from some pervert, she doesn't understand that these people out here are dangerous. And by the way welcome back, I have not seen you on here in awhile.

I wish stupid people like him would just quit! I love craigslist. That is were we buy just about everything we own. I fear that they will shut down the site if people don't stop using it for killing reasons. I was watching this on the news tonight and it just makes me sick that his fiance is standing by his side. If it were my man I would tell him to get the heck out!! He does look like a nice person and I keep hearing everyone say that over and over....well people though hitler was nice to until he started killing all the jews.

That is always so frightening when you find out something like that is happening in real life. It's amazing, you think that things like this only happens in movies, or somewhere away from where you live...and then when you see that it happens right in your neighborhood.... Most things that happen, you never even know about either...it's like they are kept hidden to keep the general public from freaking out and causing a stir, and to make everyone feel a false sense of security... The world is a scary place, isn't it?

I think what really shocked mt was that this man does not seem to be what anyone would immediately feel a danger or a threat from him. He is the most dangerous type of predator - so innocent appearing that even his close friends did not think anything was amiss with him.

I think young people tend to live in a dream world, nothing will happen to me. We see this over and over again and I remember feel that way myself way back. It's something nature seems to do to us. I guess if we didn't have this none would ever tray anything risky. But many times there is a terrible price to pay.

Hi raydene...I heard this morning on the radio that his fiance is still going ahead and planning the wedding. I'm not sure I would stay with a person who is accused of murder - would you?

I am so glad they have him as well. Kind of scary he looks so normal and was in med school. Just goes to show you never know about someone.
