Many countries have different national games. My country,India has Hockey as its national game. If any one game has to be designated as the game of the world, which game would you choose ??

Hockey being the national game of India is not reflected in its popularity. cricket is much more popular than any other game in India. people out here worship their favorite cricketers as their idols and there are many more incidences that justifies my answer. What I know, football or soccer is the most popular game played as well as watched all over the world. Therefore, I would go with football, also it is my favorite game.

My choice is also football. Its the most popular & a very interesting game you have to be in a stadium to experience the thrill & excitement a game of football comes with. Cricket,in its 20-20 format is also being very popular in most countries but not enough to over power the frenzy of game of football. There fore without a doubt football should be the world game. I appreciate your reply.
