The Job of the Federal Government is Simple....

If it's not in the US Constitution, the people working in the federal government aren't supposed to do it. It really is that simple. Let's quit making excuses for them and start holding them responsible for their actions. We need to start by calling them and challenging them on the constitutional grounds of their stances on the issues. If they can't come up with one, then there's no reason to vote for them ever again. If they persist in their unconstitutional ways, then have them removed by the means specified in their state laws. There is no reason to believe they will care as long as they think we don't care either.

I have been trying to tell people for a while now that it isn't rocket science. As a federal government servant, you have 18 specific duties and powers. The job manual is about 3 pages long and written at an 8th grade level, whats so difficult to understand?

I think that is a very good idea, because that is why we voted them in in the first place. But the problem with that is their is still too many people out their that do not care, or are not paying attention to what is going on.

We each only have 1 vote (unless,of course, you are in ACORN, then you get as many votes as they can get away with). We can't force anyone to vote any way but how they want to. The best we can do is be out there countering all the BS the two parties are laying down. The US Constitution is important enough to get out and enforce through information, education and holding our elected officials responsible!

They tell us that we must obey the laws that they create, but it is time they obey the laws that were created over 220 years ago. The Constitution, the same Constitution that they swear to up hold the the supreme law of the land over seeing any other law. It is time they, the politicians, are made accountable when they do not up hold the Constitution, no matter what the reason is. The beauty of the Constitution is that it can be amended but only through a vote of Congress and ratified by the states. If you are a Congressman that has a problem with parts of the Constitution be man enough to stand up and try to change the Constitution. No, instead we have a bunch of lord that set on their thrones and create laws how ever they see fit to. So yes let us run them out!
