I recently got paid for a task here on myLot. I got $2.00 for the task. The only part that I didn't like was that it took so long to be approved. Before it was approved I recieved like 8 more tasks that were like the previous one i did and I decided not to do them because I hadn't been approved for the first one yet. Now that I got approved for my first one, the others have expired. Oh well. Anybody else done this?

Can you tell me what exactly you did for this 2 dollar task? i guess this task was based on writing 4 paragraphs on selective keywords. i too gave that task but i always fail they never approve my task, so can you tell me what you wrote and how you presented the task? so that the next time i can get through tasks i can never get them till today not a single task of mine is approved. that is making me so sad

All of the tasks that I have done have been simple. They give you a keyword, and you have to write four paragraphs of at least three sentences each on that topic. You have to write something positive and you cannot promote places to buy the item in your article. When I choose a task, I first do an Internet search on the keyword. Usually I will locate the company website if a company is involved, and I will check Wikipedia for general information. After I read the materials and make myself familiar with the topic, I will begin talking about it. I usually define what the thing is in the first paragraph, talk about its history in the second one, and discuss the features of the product in the final two paragraphs. It is important that you use good grammar and spelling in the article. A person does check each one and approves it manually. I hope this helps you :)

Yea, that's the same task I had. The first thing I did was research the keyword, get information on it to write about. I used MS Word 07 to write it up, that way I could see if there were any errors in spelling or grammer. I think spelling and grammer count. I used the keywords in the paragraphs multiple time and kinda made it sound like a sales pitch or promotion. It also helps if you can make everything flow together. You have to make your paragraphs transition into one another to sound good. Thats all I did, I think.

I've noticed this too. When I found out about $2 tasks, I thought, "Woohoo, a license to print money!" I sat down over an afternoon and cranked out 18 of them. Since then, only 6 or 7 have gone through. The others are waiting in the queue to be approved still, for about 5 days now. I am not complaining as long as they all eventually pay off. I just thought that I would be able to write several per day, get them approved within a day or two and make a really decent extra income on this site. That said, I am just happy that this site exists. I wish that I could find more sites that offer small paid writing jobs without an application and hiring process!

I know what you mean. My task took almost 2 weeks to be approved. I started to think I wasn't going to be paid for it so I decided not to do anymore until I knew if it got rejected or approved. I guess now I know for next time I get some to do. Thanks for your comment
