I have the symbol of Ankh between the shoulder blades and the reason why I chose Ankh is because it represents fertility and power. Do you have any tattoos? What are they and what do they represent for you?

I have 7 tattoos. Six of them have meaning to me. One of them was just to see if I could handle getting a tattoo LoL! I have a tribal looking phoenix on my left wrist, it is to remind me that no matter what happens in my life I can always get up and keep going. It reminds me of that cause the phoenix is consumed by its own flames but rises from the ashes. I have a goofy dragon on my upper left arm with my oldest son's name below it because a lot of cultures believe that goofy looking creatures ward off evil.. I see the dragon as a guardian over my son, a representation of his guardian angel. I have a Native American woman on my upper right on. She is a warrior and carries a spear. The woman reminds me of my native american roots and she is a warrior because I like to think of myself as a fighter that I don't give up easily! I have a scroll with Joel 2:32 on my leg to remind me that God is always there all I have to do is call on him. I have a small cross on my right shoulder blade to represent my faith in God. I have a butterfly on my right ankle to remind me that there is beauty in everything. And the one that was my test tattoo is the Chinese symbol for love and it is on the left side of my chest. I think if your gonna commit to a tattoo is should mean something to you. I try to get orginal tattoos, ones that don't come off the wall but I will admit my dragon tattoo came off the wall and the idea of my native american woman came from a viking woman I saw on the wall.

I don't have any tattoos, but I've often thought about getting one. My biggest issue is that I'm such an indecisive/noncommital person that I don't know what I could feel passionately enough about that I would be happy having it on my body for the rest of my life. I have sometimes thought about a phrase or line that means a lot to me, or a flower that has sentimental value for me, but I can't decide on anything once and for all!
