Do you recycle & how do you help to save our Mother Earth??

I am the one that recycles everything in my house. I use the plastic bags from the grocery store to use as my garbage bags. I have to get on to my family for putting regular trash in my recycle bin. I use cold water to wash my clothes. I make sure the dishwasher is completely full before I run the dishes. I run my dryer after it is dark outside for I read somewhere it saves money too. I make sure no lights are on & are turned off when not needed. I will not let anyone use the lights during the daytime, LOL!!! I am a firm believer in helping Mother Earth & saving our planet. How do you feel MyLot????

Hi cj! I do all the things that you do so I must be doing a
pretty good job on my saving Mother Earth too! I don't have
a dishwasher so I have to hand wash the dishes. I don't use
the dryer at all anymore. I dry my clothes on the racks
inside the house. I happen to not like lights on and keep
yelling at my boyfriend to turn them off! I use the grocery
store bags for garbage too! I am trying to learn to conserve
water, although I am still having a little trouble with that
one since I tend to run water while I am cooking, but I'm
working on that one!

Yes, I don't like a lot of lights on either, for I don't care for the glare in my eyes, LOL!!!! I hang my bed clothes on the line during the summer for I love the sent of the fresh air on my sheets. And when washing my clothes I make sure I have a full load too, even though you can put it on a small load.
