Howlong it would take to see once you are there.How was it formed?

No I really want to. I flew over it in a plane and it looks so cool from the air

I have read in the history book, this was formed thousands of years ago due to flow of river colarodo. It is one of the important picturesque spots in USA

I live on the south rim of the Grand Canyon..how long depends on what you want to see...if you want to hike or ride pack mules to the bottom. You can be there a week and not see it all. It was formed by millions of years of erosion..I do have to say it is breath taking!
