What are your favorite and least favorite books by your favorite author? My favorite author is Dean Koontz. Up until last fall, I hadn't read a single one of his books that I didn't like. Then, I read two that I didn't like that well. They were fine, but just not as good, in my opinion as some of his other works. The two books were The Funhouse and Tick, Tock. For some reason, I just didn't like them as much as his other books. As for my favorites, I think Midnight is my all time favorite of his. I have re-read it so many times. I also like the Odd Thomas series and really all of his other books I have read. So how about you? Who is your favorite author and what are your favorite and least favorite books by that person?

I really like Steven King but I haven't read anything of his lately. I have been reading true crime novels and various other stuff. I have never read Koontz but my step dad is an avid reader of his works. I'm not sure what my favorite or least favorite book of King's is.

I've never read any Steven King, but I hear people kind of compare him and Dean Koontz, I don't know how accurate that is though. Is there a particular King book that you would recommend to someone to read first, if they've never read any of his books?

If you are not really into horror I would really say you should read, "The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon" it's not as graphic. Most of King's books are very good but, they are pretty graphic.

My favorite author is Andre Norton because her Beast Master is the first science fiction book I read. I believe I was 12 or 13 when I discovered her books. In fact I have almost all of her books. There are some, like Zarthor's Bane, that I don't like, but for the most part I really like all her books. I still own the first of her books that I bought (about 50 years ago).

Dumas is my favorite one, the one with the Three Musketeers. I'll have to look up more about him.

I'm into spy books and my current fav. is Vince Flynn I've read all his books! But you have to start with his first and go from there. The hero goes thru some changes and it's good to follow along. I read tick tock and like you didn't care for it that much! On a lighter note I also like Cliver Cussler, for some light reading. I read about one and a half books a week! tdemex!
