billy mays is the ticket to great sales?

cnbc is having a special on tonight about "as seen on tv" products etc and they did an interview about it on msnbc this morning and the people that made the documentary said that people think that if they cant get billy mays (the loud talking oxy clean guy) to promote their products they feel they are doomed..
i personally cant stand billy mays.. he is annoying and gives me a headache and heck i have never bought anything he has sold..
could they be right? do you think a product making it could be just because of this guy??

thats true but i think he would still turn me off of whatever he was selling.. or maybe he just hasnt sold anything i like yet lol

I don't think so, because I refuse to purchase anything that he is trying to sell. He is the most obnoxious man, and I don't like to be yelled at. I don't understand why he feels the need to scream at viewers. I am wondering if he wouldn't sell more porduct if he would simply lower his voice and talk to us like we had some god given sense.

yeah no kidding! i think they said he makes like 30k a commercial though so yelling for him is making him money!! but im sure all headache medication sales have gone up too with all the headaches from his yelling lol
