What do u call Father and Mother in your Language?

I am hailing from the country of different langauges - India. In my language, Malayalam we call father as "Achan" and "Amma" for Mother.I would like to know about, what do you call Father and Mother in your language?

In tagalog, we call Father as "tatay" and "Nanay" for mother. Sometimes filipino people use "Itay"-father and "Inay"-mother. but i don't use those tagalog terms to call my parents. I use "papa" and "mama" when calling them...

I already heard about "Tatay" and "Nanay" but it is a new information for me about "Itay" and "Inay" thank you for sharing the information and happy mylotting

In swedish, it is Mamma och Pappa.

oh..great...same here in christian families, they call Pappa, Daddy and Appachan for Father and Mamma Mummy and Ammachi for Mother.

In Romanian languace are so many " names" for mother and father...but in normal way is MAMA and Tata...in a sweet way is mami and tati. So...mama and tata, romanian languace is a latin languace.
