What do you think about reincarnation?

You may or may not be religious, but you may have thought about reincarnation as a possibility. Many religions, including Buddhism, believe that life continues after death, in another form. I'd be interested in other people's opinions on reincarnation, such as: Do you believe you will be reincarnated after death? What form will that take (animal or human? How long before you are reincarnated? Will you have memories of past lives? Will you see past friends or relatives in your new incarnation? Is there really more than one living being, or is every being just a reincarnation of every other living thing? Is there life on other planets into which you may be reincarnated. Is there any proof (or disproof) of reincarnation? What do you think?

I'm not very religious, but I think that there must be some form of reincarnation, even if it's not the way we think of it. Every piece of energy in the universe is re-used. There's nowhere for it to go except into something else. I believe that even if you don't get reincarnated as another human, or even as an animal or something like that, that every bit of matter and energy gets turned into something else, constantly. So while we may not be aware of what happens to us after we die, I really believe that something happens.

Thanks for your comment. I agree with all your points. I have read quite a bit about this, and the best book was "The Book" by Alan Watts, a former Episcopalian minister who converted to Buddhism. I have also read several papers by logicians, who make a strong case for reincarnation. Thanks for your submission! --philtaylor

Does eternal Heavenly bliss sound right? Try to do nothing. How long can you do it? Not long. Life is the education of God's children. There is so much to learn that it will take eternity to learn. Since most lessons in life are learned through adversity, some Heaven is needed to show us that it has never been about punishment. Each life is a new story. We only remember all our stories in our sleep. Of course when we learn enough it might all come together. I wouldn't count on coming back as an animal. You already were. Of course, it would be nice to be that prized pooch again.

I don't believe we can be reincarnated.which is referred by Budism and other religions.Even if we can do that, what's the meaning of it? we cannot sense,we also cannot remember who I was before I was reincarnated.
