Have you ever seen those TV commercials for Publishers Clearing house, that say "enter to win a weekly $5,000 check for life," and a bunch of people show up to somebody's doorstep, surprising them witha giant $5,000 check?
They say it's been featured on the Today show or something like that.
I'm member of InboxDollars, and I've seen this contest advertised in paid emails, too.
It looks a little fishy to me..where does all that money come from?
Would you enter?

PCH money? I would assume that the money comes from revenues they make from all the newspapers/magazines they sell and this is the amount of tax the company would have to pay if they didn't give it all away (which would then make it tax deductible).
"In 2009, the odds for the top prize in Publisher's Clearing House Giveaway #1400 (a prize of $1-million) were 1 in 1.75-billion, the highest the odds have ever been for a PCH giveaway."
A great start to look about this company that has been around for decades would be here.
