Ever been scammed from ebay? How to avoid it?

I've been scammed once. It was a second offer for a Sony DSCW110 for only around $30USD. The thing is I'm so excited about the item so I grabbed once I received the email saying "you have a second offer". I didn't even check about the feedback of the seller. She have +1 feedback only,and I already trusted her for my money. It is also not done via paypal. Its my 2nd purchase ever from ebay. I haven't read that much about some tips to avoid being scammed from eBay. So guys, for new ebayers out there. Be careful. learn from others experience. Don't be too excited.

The offer was too good to be true after all!~ If you're especially new, you should watch out for people like that. In your case, I'm sure the highest bidder is the seller himself with another account ID or his own friends like they have a syndicate set up & all
