Some people believe in fair tax. We should get our whole pay check, instead of the amount after taxes. The trade off is every items you buy from the supermarkets or stores, the sales tax gonna be 21%. Do you like the practice of fair tax?

Yes and I agree with doing away with the IRS altogether. If we have a fair tax even people who work off the and illegal aliens will be paying tax too. But then, it doesn't matter right now what we the people think or want. Just for now though....

It does not make any difference how you tax the people if the government does not reduce spending. Any tax change would have to be with a stiptulation that the Federal budget could not exceed a fixed percentage of the Gross National Product GNP. Without that teh Fair Tx would soon be 25%, then 30%. What ever tax is forced on us it should be a tax on everyon not just the wealthy. Right now you have 68% of the people pay all the income tax in this nation. It is not fair that you have 1/3 of the population that can tell the rest of us how much we are going to pay in taxes to support them. Let every one who pays taxes vote and those who don't pay taxes should not have a vote.

I agree with a fair tax. Whether it be a consumption tax or a flat tax. I think it is nuts that you pay your income tax, then what little bit is left, you pay in consumption tax.

The fair tax makes a lot more sense than the thousands of pages that comprise the present income tax laws we have now. One good thing about the fair tax is that necessities wouldn't be taxed. I think the fair tax would stimulate economic growth because people would actually HAVE money to spend, their own money, to spend as they see fit instead of giving their money to the government to spend as it wants.

for my opinion, i think it depends how the tax was used. if the tax is too high and improperly used, that is the time that there will be a conflict and 21% is too high i think. But its just my opinion
