I like it!

So, The Unusuals has been airing for a few weeks now. I am really liking it a lot. It is interesting and exciting. The relationships between the characters is fun. Amber Tamblyn as the little rich girl trying to make it on her own, Harold Perrineau as the guy who is sure he is going to die this year because he is the same age as when his father died, Adam Goldberg as comic relief and has a brain tumor but won't tell his friends, Jeremy Renner as the guy with a secret and Amber's partner, and Chris Sarandon as Amber's rich Daddy. A totally worthwhile show that I plan to watch as long as it is on. All my favorites get cancelled, so I am not optimistic. Has anyone else gotten into it?

Oh yes, I do like the show. Even when I miss it, I go online at abc.com and catch up on the episodes. I've been reading about the ratings, and they are just so-so. I hope they renew it, although who knows these days. I don't like the woman Amber Tamblyn's partner is with. Maybe I'd like her if she wasn't with him. Anyway, it's a fun show.

Like I said in another discussion, I wanted to give this show a chance because I adore Amber. She was Emily on General Hospital for a few years before Natalia Livingston made the role hers. Also, she was awesome in Joan of Arcadia. I think she is a good actress and fairly versatile. I hope it lasts long enough to get a following.

I am SO disappointed ABC canceled it. I know they will be airing the remaining episodes, but this is such a good show! It needed a better chance.

And once they cancel a show it is very difficult to find the show to finish watching! They don't seem to care when they air it.

I have been trying to watch it, but my husband seems to think it is a bit like the old Barney Miller show in that all the detectives are a bit loony. I too wonder if it will be canceled. There can only be so many shows about cops going after off the deep end characters. Besides better shows than that have been canceled. It seems more like a summer replacement that they are trying out so I am not putting much hope for it. I think ABC is trying different venues to see what one fits. So now they are doing the weird shows.
