How to make jelly ?

I make two types of jelly: quince and plum. The reason is because both fruits have a lot of pectin. But I suppose you can make jelly from any fruit if you add pectin. Quince: I quarter the fruit and boil until tender in a little water, enough to cover ( seeds and peelings too). When the water is half, I save the water trying to take it clear. Then I boil again with sugar, cup for cup. Same with the plums. I use those dark big plums. I sdon´t stay at the kitchen watching it: I put it in very low heat. Take care
