Since college graduation, I was able to work three different kinds of job. The first one I was the chief of staff in a government office. The second job I was in charge to liquidate funds borrowed by a certain organization from a national agency. The last job was a call center representative. Of these three jobs, it is the last one - my call center experience that is stressful. When I was the chief of staff, even if I had lots of work such as but not limited to drafting communications, making speeches for the boss, attending meetings and seminars, lobbying to legislative body, entertaining visitors while the boss is out, doing my boss non - office related matters, even making impossible possible, and then going to school at night I never got stressed out. In my second job which makes me do stuff I am totally a stranger since the job is for an accountant or any business related graduate, I was not also stressed out. The last job I had, I quit because I was really stressed out and it threatened my health condition. Before I had such job, my friends told me call center job is stressful. I didn't listen because I was thinking why it would be stressful when all I need to do is to sit, answer the call, and document it. When I had the job, I realized then that it is stressful. I believe, what makes it stressful is it is a work at night plus always talking and thinking for solutions to customers problem. How about you guys? Have you experienced a stressful job or work? Maybe by sharing it you can release some of the stressed you feel right now.

I am considering leaving me call center job due to stress. I am currently sick with a physical illness doctors aren't sure what it is after doing several tests on me. The constant pressure of living up to the numbers and stats that are recorded by managers, dealing with overly demanding and irate people, and not getting any sort of appreciation has take it's toll. Today after being sick for two weeks I have decided it's not worth it and to find something that is less stressful. My family is happy because the company is reputable and I get good benefits, so I don't want to disappoint them, but maintaining health I think it more important than that.

Most time, its my work..with ontime deliveries and work loads. I try to divert mind on music and i feel better. We need to manage stress, as it is part of life in busy world. But if we concentrate, we can manage it. I does it through my yoga, listening music and going out on vacation.
