Hello friends! I have heard about this technique being used in reading books or rather longer writings. It helps you to read the content at a speed to the make the conclusions in minutes.

hehe... I've tried speed reading before. Well, I skimmed through a paragraph of a book and thought that I had it but actually... when I tried to remember some of the events, my mind was blank.haha

hmm, i do speed-read most of the times, because i always come across big articles like several discussions on My-lott, which i really don't have the time to read, so i speed-read, you could say that is how I devolped this skill, I think speed-reading does help save time, and it also amkes you pay more attention to the article because you know that you will forget to read something which is why you pay extra attention, it also helps in getting rid of the unwanted information and helps you to sink in the important facts, i hope you try to read this response quickly too, since I had a lot to say... oh, that's right, I should have mentioned that in the first lines!

I can't speed-read myself, I have a habit or rereading a line a few times when I don't understand it the first time, sometimes I lose my place and have to go back to a line or page I remember reading... I just don't really process information too quickly...
