interesting point. It seems the information age has brought new multimedia technology that has upsides and downsides? I think more people are switching to the news channels, the internet and other non-print services. One upside is that less paper means more trees will be around to rid excess carbon dioxide. What do you think?

Yeah, right on both ways..but many paper industries are using waste products to make paper..such as sugarcane waste are being used..

Come to rethink about it, it seems a good example for the upcoming generations to read news in print. For one thing, it reaches more people without need for high-tech access. It also creates more jobs for more people doesn't it?

I believe more people get their news from television because they are always in a hurry to get things done. TV can be watched while getting ready in the morning. Whereas it is somewhat difficult to read the newspaper when you're putting on make-up. However I do believe the small town newspapers are still being read. I say that because I have worked in the industry and I am actually looking into doing some work with one again.
