Do you stop watching your favorite show when...

I have been a fan of several different sitcom shows that come on in the time brackets of 7-10pm. Here lately, I find myself no longer watching these shows or even wanting to watch them due to their story lines or when characters leave. For example, I was huge fan of CSI: Las Vegas and I watched the characters slowly dwindle off the show. I pretty much came to the conclusion I was no longer interested in the show after character Warrick was murdered and Grissom the lead person (in my eyes) in the show was leaving. I in turn started watching more of the show "House" and was disappointed when Dr. Kutner committed suicide. It seems no matter what show I start to get into someone who I favor on that show dies or is killed off. Do you continue to watch your favorite shows when this happened? Do you feel that when they make serious changes to the character line-up that the show is "never the same"?

Yes! I used to watch Heroes up until the 3rd season. It was too confusing. There was too many plot twists and if you missed an episode it was hard to know what was going on. I hate when this happens. I remember being so excited to watch the third season of Heroes. About 4 episodes in I realized the storyline was too hard to follow. :((

Ugh! I hate when shows do that. I think the only type of shows that it seems you can leave for awhile and come back to and still understand are the Soap Operas. They seem like they take forever to make their storylines complete and to the point. I never really got into Heroes... Heard some reviews about it but its always on during one of the other shows I watch! =] Thanks for your response.

Yes I have the same feeling and that's why in many commercial comedy series the one who popular would never die, and in commercial film there're a lot of happy endings. But sometime they have to wipe out someone from the story line due to the actor's absence or simply want innovative and make a difference, as I find a particular character of a RPG game die or betray the leading role.
