What defines too "nerdy?" Is it a reason to dump some one?

I was dumped because she said I was too nerdy and because of that she felt like the guy in the relationship. It's like she thought that being able to use technology to my advantage was a bad think and made me less of a guy. I think this is a very wrong stereotype. Guy's can be just as manly and know how to use technology at the same time. What do you think My-loters? Is this a stupid excuse to dump someone? What is the stupidest reason you've been dumped for?

Guys are usually more technologically updated and are really inclined to purchasing or learning techie stuffs. While girls are more inclined to anything about fashion or physical appearance. In my opinion, I think she might just be trying to tell you that both of you are too different from each other. She might have felt that both of you do not think on the same wavelength. Maybe she cannot appreciate or relate to technology the same way that you do that's why she thinks that she might not be able to get along well with you even in a relationship. If two people cannot relate well with each other, that could be a reason why they should choose not to pursue a relationship. It would have been better if she can accept you as a person who is fascinated with technology. But if she cannot accept you for who you are, then I think there is no reason to pursue her as well. That's just my POV though.. :)

Don't be affected by that comment from your girl. it is good that she became honest with you and did not play along with you just to please you and not get you hurt. Move on with that and if you feel comfortable with what or who you are you don't need to change at all. For some reason maybe you and her are not compatible. in time there will be someone for you to love and be love.

Don't worry! If you were being yourself that's what counts. That special someone will accept you for who you are. Keep it real.
