I would love to Freddy back on the big screen, but I am not sure that anyone could do the movie as much justice as Wes Craven did with the original. I have to admit though that Freddy vs. Jason was pretty spectacular, so may if they did make another Elm Street movie it would be just as good.

The only way I think it would work was if they had Robert Englund be Freddy again, and I think they would have to have Wes Craven or a good horror director too. I saw the new friday the 13th and it was really really bad :(

I agree with you about Robert Englund. I don't think anyone else could do Freddy justice like he did. He was Freddy.
