My husband and I run a few small business ventures, but after the housing market crash one of my businesses is acutally going alot better. People are not willing to give up their favorite pair of jeans even though their bills have gone up or their pay has been cut. People have been flocking to ebay to find those favoirte jeans for a fraction of the price. $150. jeans can be obtained for $40-$60, sometimes even less if you catch it just right. I am interested in knowing what other products out there have been doing better on ebay now that the economy has had some issues.

I do craft sales and the last two have been the biggest I have ever done!!! I think part of it is that I have unusual things that are reasonably priced so they get the satisfaction of still buying something without breaking the bank....

I think this downfall of the economy has brought out the businesswoman in alot of us. Alot of us are thinking outside the box and making it work. Where there is a will there is a way. If you are determined and willing to go outside your comfort zone you can make things happen for you.

Nowadays people are being practical with the products they purchase. On eBay, you can get a lot of things with the same brand and quality but the discount can gt up to 90%! Some stores specially in the US have lots of returned items and these store can no longer return it to the manufacturer. But for some reasons, there is someone from ebay that can get this returned Items and post it in ebay in a very low price. Just my 2 cents

I am the same way. I sell handmade goods (mine and other people's) and I find that right now is my biggest selling time. I have made $60.00 just this week alone. The only difference between us is that my Ebay hasn't even gotten any customers so I stopped selling there.
