Happy ANZAC day to all Aussies & Kiwis!! / myLot

What are your plans for today? We went to the march in our local area & now we are watching the big one on TV. Other than that, it's a quiet one as it's my daughter's 2nd birthday tomorrow. Do you march? I haven't since I was a kid, my dad marches sometimes with his medals as he served in the Australian Navy for 20 years so he dons his medals & heads to the RSL for drinks.

Heya Moonchild1au And a Happy ANZAC day to you also. Tis a quiet one here also, I have my daughters 14" TV going in the lounge watching an ANZAC documentary, (why the 14" you ask? coz my 29" sucked a kumara! hehe) My kids are still a little young to comprehend what these guys went through in both wars, I'm working on it though....albeit slowly! Hopefully they will eventually understand the huge sacrifice that so many Kiwis and Aussies made back then so we can live as freely as we do today! To your Daughter for tomorrow HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I will tell her you said happy birthday - not that I think she understands at this age lol. That doco you watched would've been interesting - pity they didn't sho it here :( They are showing old war movies on tv tho
