If hell exists, then are you really free to use your free will?

If hell exists and those who deny God are supposed to land up there, then they are not really free to accept or deny God. Many will accept God because of the fear of hell. Those same people might have denied God if there was no hell. Similarly, some will deny God ebcause they feel God is too cruel to send anybody to hell and so, such a cruel God does not deserve worship. These same people might have accepted God if there was no hell. So, if hell exists, then free will is false. It is nothing but hypocrisy. If hell exists, then you are nothing but a robot.

You just disproved your argument with the two examples you gave because, in each case, free will was exercised. Everyone has the choice, regardless of the presence of Hell or not. In fact, Hell is not even close to the main reason why a person chooses to accept or not accept God...and Jesus...into his/her heart.

It seems that you are like the poster who prefer to use a hell road. Whatever option you only have, it will only create hell. If you take a hell, it will result a hell situation, too.

Let me say this.... This is just a hypothetical example..... you told your friends that hey, this Z's road would be bad (Hell) because there were so many bumps, etc. Then, you told them to go to this X's road (Heaven). You already gave your reasons. But your friends still wanted to go to Z's road. Will you accept if they blame you because of their choice?

I am so glad there is free will. If in fact there was no free will I wouldn't have the choice to say that religions are just blind attempts to control a mass population of people. With that being said, if you don't believe in a god then you usually don't believe in hell. Of course, that isn't true for all but for some.
