Do you compete with your co-workers?

Do you? And do you think this is a healthy environment to work in? I personally only have two other co-workers at my main place of work (the dry cleaners) and one is my manager, and another is a guy that hardly works at all - and when he does, he makes a million mistakes. For some reason they haven't fired him yet, although I'm not sure why. So, needless to say, there's not really any competition to be had. What about you guys? What are your feelings toward competition in the work place?

Hi maezee, In my place also there is no question of competition. I have been working here for long time and many are coming and going and they do respect me and learning from as I am senior of them. I am very happy to share my knowledge and assist them for their work too. I don’t think competition is good at work and it is better to do their own job with sincerity and honestly. For me, all are equal and deserves respects irrespective of their qualification and post.

I don't compete with my co-workers its better to help ang work together to be able to give the best service to the customers or clients. If one of your co-workers make mistakes still give him/her a chance to work again..everybody make mistakes.

as far as i'm concernd,it is no need to compete with others. if one has competitive it means he has some aspects advantages, for instance,he majored in that areas or he has experience, etc.so we needn't be jelous, what we should do is improve our competitive and get more experience by different aspect. just keep a banlance mood to face everything~ good luck with all of you mylot friends~
