What's your favorite "judge" shows?

At least in the US, "Judge" shows are HUGE. We have Judge Judy (the 'original'), Judge Karen, Judge Joe Brown, Judge David Young, 'Divorce Court', and so many more that I can't even begin to name.
What's up with HOW MANY we have on TV these days?
Wouldn't ONE show suffice? Or is it really necessary to have dozens of different ones?
Which is your favorite - and why?
Do you think Judge shows are just as sleezy as day-time "talk" shows like Maury & Jerry Springer?
I guess my favorite would probably be Judge Judy because she sets EVERYONE in their place (although I never have the chance to watch it). She's just funny.
What about you guys? Any opinions?

I thought Judge Wapner was the original TV judge? 
I too wonder why there are so many. I don't really have a favorite, though I've watched The People's Court, Divorce Court, Judge Judy, Judge Joe Brown, and Judge Alex from time to time. I don't think they are as sleazy as Maury Povich or Jerry Springer, though I don't watch them on a regular basis, so I can't say for certain!

The only one I watch is Judge Judy-I love her as you said she really puts people in their place and makes you think about decisions that you may make in your life. Most of the guys on there are losers good advice to any girls-stop and think about who you are getting involved with before sleeping with, lending money to, buying a car for, cosigning a loan for. If they have a problem with keeping a job for more than a month-run the other way.
