what your older sister did must be a lesson.

It's hard to be the youngest child in the family. In my case were just 2 children and the sad part is my sister had gone to the states to work. She had been married for 8 years and my mom said I should marry a "PERFECT GUY" unlike my sister. I'm so fed up with my mom's babblings. She insists that I should marry jorge (an american chatmate) which is by the way not my boyfriend and definitely not my type. Me andmy man had been datng for almost a year and planning to settle after 5 years. I just can'tcontrol what my heart tells me and my mom kept on telling me that I should marry an american guy. Which is also against my will..what should I do?

well.. sounds like you like your man very much.. there is nothing else to do but to confront your mom with the news and try to convince her that your happiness lie in sharing your life with your man and not someone who barely connect to you... get your man aquainted with your mother in some way and then reason with her to see the bright side..hopefully, that would do the trick..

well.. i can understand why she would want you to marry someone with a better financial background.. but if you remain true to your love all the way, eventually, your sister will come to see that nothing will make you more happy than spending your life with the one man you chose for yourself.. keep your faith in people...happy mylotting :)

you should follow your heart and do what is right for you. You should know that marrying takes a lot of risk, don't make yourself in pain if you know who to be with.
