First reports were in Mexico now it's hitting U.S. It's one thing on top of another these days! NEW YORK — At least two cases of the human swine influenza have been confirmed in Kansas and one more in California, bringing the U.S. total to 11. At least eight students at a New York City high school probably have swine flu, but health officials said Saturday they don't know whether they have the same strain of the virus that has killed scores of people in Mexico. A strain of the flu has killed as many as 68 people and sickened more than 1,000 across Mexico. The World Health Organization chief said Saturday the strain has "pandemic potential" and it may be too late to contain a sudden outbreak. Kansas health officials said Saturday they had confirmed swine flu in a married couple living in the central part of the state after the husband visited Mexico. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,517876,00.html

Well, this is just peachy. I thought Steven King already wrote this story. If it isn't one thing it is another... but hey, our glorious leader gets something else that he can call a crisis. I wonder what sweeping changes he will make as a result of this mess.

He'll probably use it for an excuse to grant all the illegals amnesty, you know so they can be issued free health care or something. He surly won't see it as an excuse to do what most of us Americans want and close the border. So far it looks as if he's just ignoring the entire issue.
