It depends on the degree of heat. Usually when it is not so hot, I get tanned. But when It is to hot, I get sunburn. But it is not very common. I do not use any sun protection like sunscreen, but a friend of mine told me that I should start using it considering that the heat nowadays is getting worst as compared during the early times.

I have a natural tan skin because I am Asian. I don't get burned under the sun, my skin turns reddish-brown after an exposure with the sun and water. As far as I have read, Caucasian skin never burns but it turns red when exposed under the sun and repeated sun exposures can lead to tan skin but it may take a long while to do that. Asian skin don't burn but it gets tanned easily under the sun while Black skin burns easily under the sun as their skin has excessive melanin on their skin, Asians like me have moderate amount of melanin in their skin.
