Today is my birthday and I celebrated it by watching old mushy movies since yesterday. I watched first the Sidney Sheldon's film IF TOMORROW COMES with my sister. It took us 5hours or so to finish all the 3discs. I can say its a thumbs up movie, and was really exactly the same with the book. The second movie which i watched alone last night was BREAKFAST AT TIFANNY's. I was in love with the song and the character. Oh, such a good way to celebrate my 26th birthday! Just a first day for another 365 day journey of my life. CHEERS!

I love old movies. Was not my birthday, that was on February, but today Dark Victory was on. I had to go to church before it was over and I had seen it so many times and each time I cried when Bette Davis was so brave, and hugged the dogs and told no one to disturb her. And they knew she was going to die. I remember seeing If Tomorrow Comes when it first came as a mini series on Tv. And I read the books. In fact I loved Sidney Sheldon books.

Your welcome. It brings back memories when we were first married, watched those mini series on television. And read all his books. I think he was the one who wrote the series about the original Charlies Angels, Farah Fawcett, etc. and did you know that John Forsythe (I do not know if I spelled his name right) was the voice in the background?

Oh that makes us two suspenseful. I read all of his books now, except for THE OTHER SIDE OF ME. Im lookin forward to see also MASTERS of THE GAME, i might buy the DVD next month. Thanks for responding!

Wow sounds like a really cosy way to spend a birthday! And it sure does sound like fun. I love watching loads of movies when it is raining outside and a movie marathon of my fave films would be heaven! Happy belated birthday
