I know i entered this poem in the writing section - but it does kind of apply to life. Be gentle on me... im a beginner xD but stuff in my life made me realise not to take small things like a smile for granted. It's one of the powerful things... well hope ya like: It's hard to live a life in peace, Stressful times that never cease To make the hammer pound your head, To make you seek comfort of a bed. But smile is more than just a word, It flutters lips wings on a bird, It crinkles eyes and dimples cheek, Small soft smiles that always seek to lift the spirit way up high, to charge emotions in a sky, So blue, the calmness washes through So let the smiles wash over you...

makes one smile after reading it... thank you for sharing it with us. :) there's a lot of things going on in our life that we musn't forget simple pleasures in life like smiling. it's little stuff like this that makes a day seem brighter... problems, less difficult... people, more friendly. i've made a bestfriend for life because we happen to exchange a smile as we pass by each other in the stairs of our apartment building. i was going up and she was coming down. that smile was very brief, and we didn't even utter a word until we met again a few days after that. that would be 16 years ago come october. i can't imagine my life without her in it. because we certainly shared more than our fair share of laughters together. :) you've got one great poem there and i'm glad i woke up just now and was able to read it. (it's almost four in the morning in my part of the world.) certainly, my first smile of the day. thank you. :)

Lol well, i'm thankful for you being able to read it. =] It's fantastic how the purest of friendships are made through simple things -especially in the societies we're living in. Thanks for replying and hope you have a great day =p x

yeah little things like a simple smile could go a long long way... you, too. enjoy the rest of the day/night (whichever time zone you're in). -lol-
