Anybody remember swine flu from the 70's?

I remember back in 1976 when people had to go get swine flu injections. My parents went, but us kids didn't. I Mom really had a bad reaction from the shot, and from what I recall, some people claimed they had loved ones that died from the injection, and tried to sue the government. Do you think we'll have to get a swine flu injection from the government? I hope not. I don't trust the government, especially this administration.

Yes, I do remember it and I think I even had it. I was always told it was the swine flu. I ended up with pnemonia when I was child in the hospital for a month. I was reading an article about it last night. The article said 240 people in New Jersey had it. Now I really wish I knew if indeed I did have it. Thats what I remember it being called.

This new flu thats going around is a mutation. The flu contains the swine flu, bird flu and the human flu. Very scary! I really hope this doesn't get out of hand. Like I said I was very very very sick with something when I was a child and I dont know if it was the swine flu or they feared it was. But that flu and pneumonia I would never want to catch again. I think that was the sickest I ever was in my life.

I don't get flu shots and I won't get swine flu shots. I trust government (no matter who's in charge) about as far as I can throw them! I suspect this flu is manufactured--3 strains that affect different species, all rolled together. And conveniently started in a country whose citizens travel back and forth into this country unsupervised and unfettered.

Yeah, and they (Obama) doesn't seem to be too concerned, either.
