Swine Flu?

Have you heard of this Flu like symtoms, it is really going around be sure to keep you hands clean and cover your mouth, and nose when sneezing or coughing. I here it is really bad in New York, and Ohio had a case of it. keep your hands clean to be rid of germs.

It is more than a bit worrysome. Especially since all the flu shots that people have had since last fall won't do them any good. Hopefully it's a good time that it's hitting now when more people are opening windows and spending time outside. Better than being cooped up inside with the rooms all shut up.

I've bookmarked the site to monitor it's progress, and to keep the inforation handy until the threat passes...hopefully quickly!

i don't watch a lot of tv news or read the paper, however i heard about this just this morning. and it seems to be really spreading. I am here in NY and being around so many damn people all the time, you do get a bit worried. but i keep my hands to myself and try not to stand to close to folks!!

That's right you do live in N.Y be careful! You and the Kids clean you hands clean as possible. I wouldn't try to get close to no one, they say it is in the Air.

I was reading about this flu in all the news today, pretty darned scary. I'm glad they're saying so much about proper hand washing, and covering when coughing, and all that. It would be wonderful if everybody would just follow those simple little rules it would hopefully keep it in check better.

Not only...take you shoes off before entering your place. Wipe your shoes.
Have something in your car to make sure you wipe your hands right after touching money and shaking peoples hands....

We got our flu shot, but I guess it will not do any good. Is the swine flu a flu that jumped species? Then it would be dangerous. I guess when you start feeding pigs grain that contains animal products, then you run the risk of getting their dieseases as well and they are probably fatal.

Thanks for the info, marciascott. The last scare in the 70's created a stir. The flu did take one young man in the military; and the vaccine they came up with...well that was another and a very sad story. Not so good memories.

so far we are lucky there are only 13 cases reported here in canada and none in quebec where I live.
