when your child is hurting....

Almost six months ago my adult son was in a tragic automobile accident. He has recovered from the broken bones. His injuries were extensive and he was in critical condition for quite awhile. Everything has healed, except the brain injury. His prognosis is good. He is expected to make a full recovery. I am staying with him in a nursing home right now. He is making progress, even though it is very slow. I choose each day to major on even the small progresses rather than the present glaring situation. Has any one else been through this with a child? Would you min dsharing your story with me?
