That's what they say but I always dream with colors, even scents, pain, and sounds. My dream senses are all active when I am dreaming. I have never dreamed in black and white.

I don't remember a time when I didn't have a dream. Although there are dreams that I don't remember in the morning but I know I dreamed of something. Sleep has stages and there is a certain stage wherein we can remember the dream and that is when we are already about to wake up.

people dream several times a night. I've never heard of anyone having black-and-white dreams, though. They're usually incredibly realistic, and that has to include natural colors. We seldom remember our dreams for more than a few minutes after waking from them, if we do wake up at the end of a dream. Experts in meditation seem to remember their dreams more fullythan most, and they often write them down and analyze them. I think that's about as close as we can come to mapping them. Some dreams portend the fture, some review the past, and most are simply forgotten. If we're intent upon a certain thing, it often appears in dreams. We also dream of people we miss or admire, and certainly of those we love.

I've never really had any black and white dreams as far as I remember, they've all been colorful. Sometimes dreams do come true, maybe in different forms and not exactly how you saw it, but I'm not sure whether it has anything to do with colors or not, never heard of it before :P

If i have an especially vivid dream, it portends to the future. I get glimpses sometimes, but it never turns out exactly like the dream (I dreamed that i was walking down a hallway on a space station and it turned out that i walked down a identical hallway in a hospital). I don't know about dreaming in black & white - all my dreams have been in color.
