thinking about anniversaries

hi all! i just wrote awhile ago that my parents celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary. may God continue to bless with with a fulfilled and fruitful life together. and this occasion got me thinking about my own marriage. my husband and i have been married almost 2 years already and we have our first daughter now, who is only 1.5 months old. as compared to my parents, we are just starting out in life. we have had our ups and downs, too, and i couldn't help but wonder what life has in store for us. or better yet, what God has in store for us. i have a happy marriage to a wonderful man--God's appointed for me. what i know is, God holds our future in His hands and whatever our circumstances, He does all this for our good. i love my husband and he loves me. and we both love the same God. we may have a long way to go in this journey of life. but i trust in the Lord.
