i am in a relationship with a Caribbean man and we conceived a beautiful black girl and im not black im of German-English descent. we are not married. i use to live in the UK where these things are common. now since moving to Malaysia, people stare and glare at me and scrutinize me and they judge me just because im not married. they see the skin of my daughter and mine just because im white and she doesn't look white and they automatically assume she's adopted and tell me that it was nice of me to adopt an African child. its such an insult that i always say no she is my daughter. just the other day i went for a manicure and the manicurist was Chinese she started whispering in Chinese with another customer and one of them stopped and asked " is she yours?" i replied "yes she is mine" and off they went snickering. it just annoys me so much. anyone else know what im talking about?

true but my daughter is only 8 years old but even she knows they are talking about her and i can tell it hurts her feelings because she still cant see that she and i are different but i am one with her.
