They were narrowed into the BEST FIVE ever in IDOL history... Agree?

As what the judges mentioned already(including Simon) this batch of Idol wannabee's are the BEST they ever got. As a matter of fact they had 13 finalist instead of 12. And that guy they've chosen to be number 13 lasted for many weeks and gave him the spot as top 6. How's that? Before... I always have a bet from the beggining since season four...which is Carrie; season five was Ms. McPhee; season six was definitely JORDIN (close to my real name) and last year was the older David... Mr. Cook. But now... I am really confused who I want to win... though I still love Danny above them all. But Adam is really THE BEST PERFORMER and SINGER... and Kris keeps on improving. Matt is showing why he deserves the SAVE; while Allison never fails to amaze me. OH MY?!

I didn't think Matt deserved the save but he's better than some people who made the top 5. The other 4 are pretty good, agreed.

Now I understand what you mean... but let us also consider that during those previous years... those who made in top five deserved the spot as well because America voted for them to stay as long as they have managed to stay in the competition.

LOL =D From what u have said, i guess all the 5 ofthem are realy good, and that it's a tough choice to eliminate any of them now.. haha =D But too bad, this is a competition, only the best and toughest survive, to win the competition.. BUt for all the others whom dun get into the final, they need not dispair too.. Because though they might be not the public's choice, but they can be the judges choice ^_^
IN the end, nobody is a loser as long as they are in the top 5 now ^_^

While I don't think they are the best 5 in AI history I would say it is the most talented top 5 we have seen. Usually there have been only 2 who you knew could win. I think (with the exception of Matt) I would be happy to see anyone that is left win. I love David Cook. He is so talented. Carrie is the best ever. Taylor fizzled quite soon after his win.
