Passive smoking is the involuntary inhalation of smok, called secondhand smoke or enviromental tobacco smok from tobacco products.Scientific evidence shows that exposure to secondhand tobacco smok causes diseases, disability and death. Since there are many smokers aroud me, I found it difficult to prevent passive smoking, would you please give me some advice?

I think if the smoking is bothering for you, you should say it and tell the person to stop smoking or smoke in another place. I will be annoyed that someone will smoke in the public and usually I will say it. I love China

Thank you for your kind replay! I am always exposed to secondhand smoke in public place, such as restaurants, shopping centers, public transportation and so on. Autually speaking, I hate smoking. The smoke always make me cough and my eyes and throat ache.

Sometimes it's really hard to tell a person to stop smoking in front of you, or it's hard to tell him to smoke in some faraway place, especially if the person is uneducated or have bad character. The smoker might be offended, and that might turn into arguments or quarrels, or some kind of troubles. The best way is to defend yourself, by yourself. Always carry handkerchief. Cover your nose when you are exposed to second hand smoke.
