does anyone else suffer from this? it gets hot and it can make me get physically sick. i try to drink alot of fluids and i still get like that. i guess on the really hot days i will try to drink only water and see if that helps. i really hate it when the heat makes me sick. maybe i am missing something here does anyone else know of something that can help with this?

I am not a warm weather person at all. When it gets really hot I suffer from headaches, dehydration and get dry heaves and I sometimes vomit and bascically have no energy.Anything over 75 degrees is just too much for me to handle during heatwaves I hide in the a/c.I am not built to withstand the heat and find it very unpleasant.

i know i am not a warm weather person anything over 60 is a little too warm for me and it shot up from 50-60's to 80's low 90's and that is a little too extreme of a jump for me to handle. i don't think anyone expected it to get this hot this soon. i know no one has thought to put the air conditioning in yet in our house. i also like to stay in the air conditioning when it gets hot like this too, it feels so good on a hot day.

i hear u!it happens to me as well especailly if i have things to do and its super hot out.i alwasy try to stay away from sodas, caffiene, and drink lots and lots of water.as well as trying to stay in the shade or soaking my feet in cool water.i find though that all i can do is try to prevent it so it d oesnt happen very often because once i get sick with heatstroke i cant get it to go away until i sleep it off and take a days rest.

Do you usually drink sodas? Gatorade is really good for dehydration. Have you ever tried drinking that on really hot days? If not, maybe you should drinking it since it replenishes nutrients that you tend to sweat out..........

back when i played sports alot especially when i was younger we would have that alot at games it always seemed to help. if we didn't have that someone would usually bring ice water. i was the someone who usually brought it though. i try not to drink too much soda when its really hot cause it certainly does not help with this problem. i may take some of my spare change and get some gatorade just till it cools off a bit.

You need to drink something that can put potassium and natural salts back into your body when dehydrated. That means orange juice, emergenC or gatorade.

I used to live in Florida in the U.S. It was very hot and humid. I was spending a lot of time outdoors working. I eventually discovered a product called EmergenC, made by the Alacer company. It has an electolyte formula that keeps you hydrated. It is also very healthy, much better than the gatorade type drinks which are high in sodium.
