I mean on the slot machines. I went to this website, and I put $10.00 on my credit card to play this website what ever you put up they match what you bet. If you don't gamble no need to say I don't gamble, but i am asking a question? Is it against the law? I know that they had cut it out. I lose about ten dollars but I don't think I will be playing the game anymore. I notice a minute ago on the Advertisements on yahoo it said it is against the law to gamble on the internet. It said USA with no downloading. The website i went to. I guess the internet monitor everything we do?

Internet Gambling laws probably vary state to state, and can be looked up in each state's website. Watch your credit card carefully. If you use it at an actual casino, the charge is posted as a cash advance. Cash advances carry a higher interest rate, and because banks apply payments to the lowest interest rate balances first, cash advance balances are not paid off until the entire balance is paid off. Or tansferred to another card.

I didn´t know it was against the law. And are you speaking of a certain country´s law? Because I suppose every country has it´s own lawa with respect of internet gambling. And I suppose the gambling site will tell you which countries are allowed. I hope, at least Take care.

I guess, but I doubt they're interested in the person who gets sucked into gambling on the internet, but rather in those who encourage it. I would think you're safe on that one, my friend. Brightest Blessings.

I think it is. I think they have gambling for fun sites where you pay a membership, and that is all, but for real gambling with dice and stuff like that it is illegal to do it on the internet in the States. That is why many of the gambling sites are off shore so they do not get arrested. As for the internet monitoring, it is based on country. For instance as a Canadian, I cannot download an episode from the Science Fiction network, or NBC, CBS, FOX, or ABC. because for us it is illegal.

In my country it is illegal to own a online gambling business or participate in online gambling. I'd advise you not to participate in online gambling. When it's linked to Paypal, Paypal can freeze or close your account anytime if they suspect it is associated with gambling. Sometimes these gambling websites have copies of virus that will download themselves onto your computer and they function by stealing your personal info such as credit card no and send to the crooks without your knowing. So it's better to be safe.

I know that I cannot join a gambling site in my state, but free game sites are okay. It is illegal to gamble in my state, and it is also illegal to gamble on the internet. I suppose that is probably true most places.
