Does listen to music help you sleep better?

So, some people suggested that reading books before you go to bed, might help a lot for good sleeping at night. I agree, because I had tried this suggestion before. What about listening to music while you lay your head down on the pillow, while listening to soft, soothing music in low volume. It helps me to fall into sleep too. I tried this method once in while, and it is still working well on me. How about you, mylotters?

Yes, I always have. Usually soft rock or classical music to lull me to bed.

Oh Clorissa my dear, are you still having problems sleeping, did you put the laptop outside the room like I told you dear, and try that nice glass of milk. Did I tell you to warm the milk up, maybe I didn't dear, anyway warm the milk up and don't think about all these worries in your life. Is your weight still bothering you dear, really just have some nice cake with your milk and don't worry.

I often listen to instrumental songs when I want to sleep.

I used to listen to music every night to help me fall asleep. I found that having a melody or an instrumental tune would lull me into sleep. Recently, though, I've liked falling asleep without music. Sometimes the music can stimulate my mind, rather than relax it. It really depends on my mood and the songs that I choose.

music does help me sleep sometimes.. has to be slow soothin' music though...put on low volume...and somehow i would drift off to sleep. though i wish it was a solution everytime but it does work. i'm a HUGE backstreet boys fan and their music helps me calm down and when i am calm, only then i can fall asleep better. :)

music, its my pain reliever. Whenever i feel so down, i intend myself to just listen to music. and every noon, that's my sleeping pills. It makes me wanna go nap, after hearing all the tunes and the tones. sounds really relaxing!
