Is pretty much what I'm getting now adays. I just came from one discussion about smoking and driving. Hmmmmm, wonder that most of the responders were against it AND NON OF THEM SMOKED.
I'm so tired of poeple pointing fingers. Tired of people voicing an opinion without even knowing what it's all about.
I've smoked for 26 years. Not quiting anytime soon - don't warn me about the health risks because I don't care. I don't smoke in my home, around my children or even in my car when they are in it - so don't get your underwear in a bunch about it because I take care of my own.
However, how can people base an opinion without any knowledge of it? Does it bother you that they do? Do you get defensive? How do you handle it? I'm at a loss here for poeple not evening seening the big picture here. Blind leading the blind that's what I say.

I smoke too. I have never smoked in my house, I don't smoke in the car with my children. Or even in he car my children ride in. My honda Civic is all they ride in and we have never smoked in it. My husbands blazer gets smoked in but the kids don't ride in it. I even tell my kids that smoking is a yucky habit I don't want them to ever pick up. I am sick and tired of people not realizing that it is an addiction that isn't easily kicked. I do want to quit smoking. My husband and I are both wanting to, but it isn't as easy as snapping my fingers and poof we aren't addicted anymore.
