What's good about the matrix, you ask? Well, for one, the 'truth'. The fact that technology is taking over the world and with that taking over humanity. We are obsessed with computers and can't live without mobiles. What's also good about the matrix is the storyline. The way the story evolves... from one step to the next you keep on being amazed. The dialogue keeps being amazing. You can't stop watching. Then of course, the filming. The filming is probably the best thing about the Matrix. Some shots are so amazing that you just have to watch it over and over again... I think it's one of the best films ever made.

The special effect of this movie left me in awe. The effects are just awesome! This is more likely about technology. This movie is really techy. I can still remember myself being crazy over The Matrix movie and the PS2 game. Have you played the PS2 game of this movie? It's really addictive, and so is the movie itself. I can also remember myself watching this movie every once a day via VCD. Keanu Reeves is good!

The movie is quite different from other movies and I enjoy watching it because it reflects what humans may become later on. Its about humans against war with machines, but we dont know it. They breed us and create a world in our minds, so we think we are living our lives, when really we arent. It raises lots of issues and has some awesome special effects.

while the special effects were awesome, what made the movie great was that it had many levels of meaning. Neo was like a new-age savior for the human race. Also, I was thinking about this movie the other day and it came to me that by the end of the series the human race had never left the matrix. That's how Neo could "jack-in" to the matrix without physically hooking his body into it. The machines had setup a matrix within the matrix. Kind of like running a program within a program (virtual machines as they are sometimes called). Just a theory for the story, though. A lot of people didn't like the later matrix movies (the second one definetely was just filler, nothing but fighting). It was kind of a letdown when they made the third movie and didn't really make it as awesome as the first. Plus it took forever for them to make the trilogy. Thanks for bringing this topic up!
